This is where you want to do business! The team advocates for you to find ways to accomplish your goals. Chris clearly explained the storage terms, stuck to quoted price/date, and gave written confirmation of details. Jose assisted our exploration of moving with "cubes" (where to put them) and reminded us to terminate auto-pay in time for 2-week notice of occupancy termination. It all ended with with an 18-wheeler move. Yes.... this place is super convenient for drive up frequent in/out access as well as able to host large moving trucks if you need to. This location and team decreased our stress and exceeded our expectations start to finish. You'll find high integrity team here. Relax in good hands.

i got to price storage after a long drive from merced, california. i had reserved what i thought was big enough for my stuff, but it turns out i needed a bigger unit. they were very helpful driving me around and showing me different unit sizes and helping me figure out exactly what size i needed for my belongings. once we found the appropriate size, they honored my online discount i had previously set up with my original reserved unit. they also helped me by telling me how i can change my payment date because the date that was selected would not work for me. i highly recommend this place. the staff were all helpful and nice. they patiently answered all of my questions and helped make the whole experience smooth and effortless. thank you so much price self storage!! i will definitely recommend this place.

Over all, I'd say between 1 and 5 stars I'd give it 3 1/2 stars only because there was a communication breakdown which kept them from holding my locker for me. I settled for a larger more expensive one but was charged the same price as the smaller unit and they also gave me the opportunity to take the smaller unit when it became available. I think it's crappy that the rent keeps going up until the customers can't afford it. Really, replacing your customers requires you to start the price back at the bottom. Maybe raise the rent for long time customers only half as much as the customers who have only been there a short time. If you already do that, maybe let current renters know the rates won't go up so fast at a certain point. I've had my stuff at Murphy Canyon and then moved it to Santee, then moved it back to Murphy Canyon and now have to move to a smaller unit because I can't afford your high rent.

I was disappointed to find out after the fact that I could have been offered a free moving truck and driver. This information was never mentioned to me prior to showing up to the rental office. Unfortunately I had to rent a truck myself. Also, offered 50% off one month rental via internet deal, but there was a better deal (one month free) if I had gone directly to the storage facility.

I really appreciate the free truck and driver offer upon moving in. The whole storage unit was clean and spacious. There are cameras and it is gated for security. Staff was knowledgeable and wonderful. Prices are average in San Diego but I did get a free first month rental special.

The prices are very competitive, really lower than most storage's that aren't as clean as this one and the employees at the front desk are so superior to any of the other facilities I have been involved with in the past 25yrs+. They are very helpful, friendly but also very professional in their demeanor...they are a big part of the reason I direct people to that particular facility....their customer service is a big part of the entire experience. When you have to deal with the whole hassle of storing your belongings, have such great people makes it a lot more pleasant.

Whereas Jose gave very good service I was a little disapointed that costs kept on mounting and then in spite of the money I was giving your company I had to buy a lock without the choice of using my own lock.And this was at the end of the transaction when the cost was a surprise. Price Self Storage in general is a great, clean and secure place. The only think that bothers me is that every couple months there is a price increase. If the price needs to change due to market value, I would rather get an increase every 6 months or 12 months... it seems that they happen every other month and that drives me crazy. They are already on the higher scale (which is fine) but the increases every few months is bothering.

The Manager of Price Self Storage/Murphy Canyon, Chris, was willing to make a much better deal than other places I had checked with all the requirements of my situation. As a retired person, it has worked out very well. I doubt it could have been better anywhere else.
