Auto Pay Terms and Conditions
Terms and Conditions for Automatic Recurring Debit and/or Credit Card Billing Authorization
Owner is authorized to automatically debit the above-referenced debit or credit card either as a credit card transaction or an electronic debit entry to my checking account and to apply such charge to amounts incurred in connection with the storage space leased by Occupant and referenced above pursuant to the Self-Storage Agreement (the "Agreement"). Payment shall be charged automatically on the date(s) specified in the Agreement. Occupant agrees that the amount debited will automatically increase as the rental rates increase as authorized by the Agreement.
"Chargebacks" or other payment reversals (requested by Occupant or any other party) shall be retroactively treated as non-payment.
Occupant acknowledges that the utilization of this form does not constitute any contractual obligation on the part of Owner, nor does it release or affect Occupant’s obligation to make payments under the Agreement if for any reason the designated card is not, or cannot be, utilized for that purpose.
Termination of Authorization: If the designated card (a) has expired, (b) the credit or debit card company has refused to advance credit or accept a debit charge for any reason, or (c) has been stolen or otherwise rendered unusable (collectively, "Automatic Termination"), the authorization to use the designated card is automatically terminated, effective immediately and irrespective of whether it is thereafter reinstated or replaced. Occupant agrees that charging/debiting will occur each month until: (i) the Agreement is terminated pursuant to paragraph 5 of the Agreement, (ii) Owner or Occupant deliver written notice terminating this authorization, or (iii) Automatic Termination. The replacement/reinstatement of the designated card does not affect the prior termination of authorization.
To reauthorize or change the designated card: Go to the Facility to do/redo all required paperwork and allow Owner to pass the designated credit/debit card through a credit card reader. Alternatively, you may provide a replacement credit/debit card online by logging into your account at https://www.priceselfstorage.com/account/login/ and following the directions for changing credit/debit cards.
The undersigned agrees to the terms and conditions set forth herein and in the Agreement and hereby authorizes Owner to automatically bill the designated card for any amounts due under Agreement, regardless of whether such storage space is used by the undersigned or by any other individual and/or entity besides the undersigned.
